MTUBATUBA, KwaZulu-NATAL — At least 10 people have died following a horrific collision involving a minibus taxi and a truck on the N2 near Mtubatuba in northern KwaZulu-Natal.

The taxi reportedly caught fire after the collision, with passengers becoming trapped inside the burning vehicle.

Emergency personnel from the Mtubatuba Local Municipality are currently at the scene, where rescue and recovery operations are under way.
